The Jakarta Central Water Resources Agency (SDA), normalized a 360-meter channel on Jalan Diponegoro in Menteng, specifically in front of the DPP PDI P and PPP offices.

Central Jakarta SDA Sub-agency's Development Section Head, Martinet Felix said the normalization of this channel was conducted by a third party under a work contract for 90 days.
According to him, normalization is executed by installing a box culvert at the upstream and downstream sections to the connecting channel of Jalan Surabaya.

This work was targeted for completion next week and is expected to be able to anticipate flooding in the rainy season.
